A Pure Count That the Tumble Wipes and Counts Again
It takes twelve matching symbols, twelve of the thirty positions on the 6×5 grid, before the top rate applies — and eight of a kind just to register at all. Gates of Olympus runs its Ways to Win scheme as a pure count: no lines, no adjacency, and every paying count is cleared away by the Tumble so the grid can be counted again. This February 2021 build is the head of its line. The three releases that followed, Gates of Olympus 1000, Xmas 1000 and Super Scatter, kept its return, its 0.20 entry and its bonus purchase unchanged. Only Gates of Olympus POP breaks the pattern, on every recorded measure at once: a higher published return, a 0.10 minimum, no purchase at all.

How the game plays out
Ways to Win here means quantity over position: count eight or more identical symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid and a paying set forms, then Tumble clears and refills until the count stops improving. Both items below run on that check; what changes is what happens to a Multiplier value after it lands.
- Base Game
- Everything starts here, and every paid spin stands alone: winners are removed, the Tumble refills the grid until no new paying set lands, and the tally is paid out in full. Orbs caught on a winning step take random values from 2x to 500x, pool into a single figure, and multiply that step's payout once; the next spin inherits nothing.
- Free Spins
- Reached from the base state when four or more Scatter land anywhere, this round runs fifteen spins on special reels carrying extra Scatter. Its defining change is the TOTAL MULTIPLIER counter: each orb that lands on a winning Tumble step adds its value there, the figure never resets, and every later win is multiplied by whatever it currently shows. Three or more Scatter add five more spins and leave the counter untouched.
